My best friend (since we were 3) lives 40 minutes from me. We're now 24 and see each other weekly. She has babysat my kids before. We've never fought once.

I'm married and have 2 kids and a dog. My husband and I are struggling a bit financially, and my best friend has been looking to move near us but apartments are so expensive.

Would it be weird if we asked her to move in to our guest room if we offered her cheap rent? ($300 a month)

The extra $ would help us and it would help her.
