So I’ve had this white spot that comes and goes for almost a month. Most times it burns like crazy when my son finishes feeding and it is super painful to nurse. What is it? And how can I treat it?

I have one as well and it is certainly painful. I reached out to the lactation specialist I’d worked with when it started and she said “Warm compresses before you breastfeed. Usually they will resolve but if it persists put a warm compress on it for 10-15 minutes and if you can tolerate the pain you can try  to scrape off the top of the bleb with your fingernail and let it drain. You may have to repeat this process because sometimes they refill several times.  Hang in there!” To be honest I’m not great at doing the compresses so I don’t know it that would do the trick or not.

Looks like a milk bleb. To help clear a clog you can use a haaka and fill it with warm water and epsom salt (enough water to touch your nipple).

It’s a milk blob. Usually indicative of a clog. It shouldn’t really burn though so I would ask your doctor
