Favorite thing you brought to the hospital?

What’s one thing you had in your hospital bag that you were really glad to have while you were there?

Definitely a towel because the hospital provided "hair towels" so small that I couldnt even wrap my hair in them, also a long phone charger and my depends discrete underwear.

Food. We brought legit food, not just a cereal bar, and my own coffee mix.

My own jammies and robe. Also my own big water bottle, they only had small cups with lids and I had to refill it way too often. I did not have mine the first time and made sure it have it the second.

There wasn't anything that I was over the moon that I brought, but next time I'll definitely pack more snacks and drinks esp. for husband. I liked having a robe to walk around in (here in the U.K. the wards after delivery are communal) but would bring some slip on slippers the next time too. Water wipes were great for baby too - we were told to use those or cotton wool and plain water so they were definitely more convenient. The other things I like having were nursing nighties as I was breastfeeding. 
You can get some great lists online - I looked at a bunch of those (they pretty much all said the same thing) when packing. I'll do the same with the next pregnancy too.

Robe and long charger! Everything else was a waste like computer, slippers, blanket, I even brought her swaddle to do pictures and didn’t because I was so exhausted lol I literally only needed clothes to go home, charger, hair ties, chapstick, and robe.

Velcro swaddles lol couldn’t wrap a swaddle for the life of me, and a robe for me.
