Did any of you got a period when you breastfed?

I gave birth april 24th so almost 2 months ago and i bleed for only 3 weeks. I started bleeding again 2 days ago, it looks exactly like a period however i’v been breastfeeding since i gave birth and my ob said wouldn’t  get a period again until i decided stop breastfeeding. I supplement with formula at least once day cause my supply is still eh. But it looks like i got my period back which i’m very confused 🥴

You can definitely get your period while breastfeeding 
Breastfeeding will also not prevent you from getting pregnant again (that’s a common misconception too)

I guess I was lucky. I exclusively breastfed and didn’t get my period until a year later. Breastfed for 14 months.

Yes. I exclusively breastfed for the first few months and my period returned 5 weeks postpartum.

I’ve gotten my period every single month since 28 days postpartum. And I nursed x 4 months; now exclusively pumping an additional 4 months.

I was exclusively breast feeding and got my period back at 7 weeks pp. I stopped bleeding at 5 weeks. It's entirely possible the bleeding is your period

Yep, just in time for my 8 week follow up appt. With that said I took the mini-pill for BC for a year while breastfeeding and never once had a period on that until I went back to my regular birth control. I kept freaking out and taking pregnancy tests but my OB said that can be a side effect.
