Would it bother you to have two kids with the same initial and one kid with a different? All unintentional, just what we like

Yeah, it shouldn’t but it would bother me. Either they should all have the same initials or all have different.

I feel like it shouldn’t bother me- but I grew up with my initials starting with J and then my mom, dad, and sister’s names all started with S. And even though it’s silly, as a kid I always had the feeling of being left out like it was done intentionally. I know my parents obviously didn’t plan it that way, but when you’re a kid it’s hard to wrap your mind around

All my kids have different initials because they name spells out love well already their first names do and now that I’m pregnant with number five I have to figure out if it’s going be loves or loved that their names spell out but I like unique names or names that’s not popular to our culture/ethnicity

So I am the kid with a different initial than my sisters, they both start with M and mine is R, and I gave my parents a lot of trouble over it 😂 now, it didn’t ruin my life or anything, but growing up it definitely made me feel left out I guess? Now that I’m an adult I don’t care at all. 
I will also say, my first two kiddos have 4 letter long 2 syllable names… and it was impossible for me not to name my third a 4 letter 2 syllable name also lol

I tried to keep the first middle with the same letter it didn't work out  it bothered me until I had my fourth

It's pretty common. Use the name you like instead of trying to make it match.

It would bother me a little bit. But I don't like breaks in pattern. I have three sons, two of which have an E for a middle initial, like Dad. But my third son doesn't and that bothered me a little for a while (not enough to decide on a different middle name). But I'm pregnant with my fourth and he won't have an E middle name either so it won't bother me anymore.

I should add - it’s just the first initial. So if we decided to go with the name we’d have two kids that begin with the letter ‘h’ and our other is ‘w’. Different middle initial.
