Will I be able to see heartbeat at 6w2d ultrasound?

Today I went to have a ultrasound at 5w2d and only a gestational sac was seen. Not even a yolk sac. Is that normal to not see yolk sac yet? They scheduled me a week later at 6w2d to have another one done and said I should see heartbeat by then. I'm worried  it might be to early still to see heartbeat. Anyone else have similar situation?

You may be able to or you may not be able to. Either way is ok. It'll still be early. I had an ultrasound at 6+3 and we saw (and just barely heard) the heartbeat but could not measure it. My doctor had warned me it might be too early to be seen at that point. What you should definitely see is a yolk sac at your next appointment.

No. I didn’t hear my baby’s heartbeat until 12 weeks

i had one at 6 weeks and could not hear or see the heart beat. it’s perfectly normal. went back at 9 weeks and saw the heart beat but i didn’t hear it until 12 weeks! my baby was perfect and healthy!

You can possibly see a heartbeat yes! With my first I saw it at 6 weeks 3 days . But don’t get too worried if you happen to not! You’re still super early so it’s normal to not see much of anything at 5 weeks 2 days .

Yep this happened to me, I went back a week or two later and could see the heartbeat, 5 weeks is just very early
