Did the membrane sweep work for you?

Those of you who are 38+ weeks pregnant and had the membrane sweep how quickly after did you go into labor? I’m getting it done at my appointment on Wednesday I’ll be 39w1d at my appointment last week I was 2cm dilated and I’ve been spotting / losing pieces of mucus plug this week so HOPING the membrane sweep will get things going

Had the baby within 12 hours

I had mine done at 40+4 and went into labour at 40+5. I’ll never know if that’s what caused my labour to come on but yeah 😊

With all 3 of my kids it worked on the first time and I had them that night or next day ❤️ good luck

Didn’t work for me, I had one a week or so before I went into labour

With my first I went into labor 2 days later at 39w 6d I only had to do it once. With my second I had so many stretch and sweeps I lost count and finally went into labor at 40w 5d.

I had mine done mid-afternoon and went into labor at 7am the next morning. Baby was out almost 24 hours after the sweep. (Relatively short labor, especially for a first baby.)

I had one at 40+2 with my first - I was dilated to a 4 but it still took another 5 days to go into labor ☹️ 
I know several people who got one done and it sent them into labor within 48 hrs.

The first time I had it done it didn’t work, but the 2nd time I had it done I went into labor the same day.
