I had a MC 5 weeks ago, I bled for 3 weeks straight. Stopped for 1 week and bled again on week 5. It was A LOT the last week. The blood clots were about the size of my fist, my husband was very worried so we went to the ER. The bleeding has slowed down since my ER visit I didn’t bleed at al this morning but I am bleeding now.

Should I go to the D&C if the bleeding has gone down a lot?

My family says I should, cause I stopped for 1 week and it came back strong the next. I feel like they’re right but I’m not sure

I wanted to call today but their office was closed due to the holiday.

Side note: I don’t have a OBGYN, I moved a year ago and haven’t looked for one. Didn’t think I was going to end up pregnant either I cancelled my appt when I miscarried. I’m scheduled with the ER doctor at the hospital, my family says I shouldn’t miss the opportunity in case I do start to bleed again :(
