How to prepare for number 2?

I’m 12 weeks with number 2 and my son will be 2 when this baby arrives. Any tips for preparing him (and us!) for a second child? Xx

Congrats! I’m 21 weeks with number 2. My daughter will be 21m when our second is born. We got ours a baby doll and a book about being a big sister. I don’t think she really understands yet, but she loves taking care of her baby. Aside from that, making sure your toddler has good sleep habits and a solid routine will be helpful, and getting them more used to doing things independently. (We’ve been focusing on things like walking up and down the stairs, climbing on and off the sofa, cleaning up toys, etc)
