Skin burns so much easier when pregnant. I just had sun poisoning and I was in the sun for less than an hour and before it was really hot. Please take precautions!

Just be careful, your skin tends to be more sensitive and prone to burning quicker than you normally would!

I am at the beach or pool constantly so I'm definitely out there getting sun but my skin burns easier while pregnant. The hormones just make me more sensitive. I bring a big hat and cover up to protect myself after my short uncovered sessions. Even with my big button up shirt my belly got burned because it was sticking out more than usual lol

Yes just don’t over heat and stay hydrated. I would sit in the sun for 30 mins then go in the sea / sit in the shade as it was very hot. If you start sweating then you’re probably over heating so keep taking breaks. But perfectly safe, with spf :)
