Abortion…What about…

c.a.c

Almost everyone is talking about abortion or Roe V. Wade, but is anyone think or talking about protesting to protect parental rights from the government even after a child is born or the corruption within child protective services? With or without abortion we need to start having the talk about child protective services and legislation to protect children from the government after their born, as well as more transparency for within child protective services and the mental health system etc. The systems that will be most impacted by the decision overturning Roe V. Wade.

Context:

I live in a state we’re child protective services is corrupt, I fought for two years from 2019-2021 to get my son back. I had a two bedroom apartment, $1450 for a budget back then rent was $750. After he was taken 3 day after being born in the hospital, the social worker for the hospital and child protective services use stuff from when I was a teenager to take son. I only got one visitation before Covid and during covid I had to do video, then during TPR they had the audacity to up visitation to two days a week. I even got one of the best mental health reports my lawyer has ever seen, though it did not help child protective services just kept shutting us down, then when covid hit child protective services use that to their advantage. I also don’t drink socially or do drugs. I have so many papers to prove what happened, my lawyer told me to terminate my right, because they stonewalled so much that we had no new evidence to use against them. He told me child protective services have a lot more pull with the judge, he also told me that even if I terminate my right that having another child in this state would get taken even though there’s supposed to be no after effect. This is what people don’t see or don’t know that child protective services have been telling women where they can give birth. You would think even if you matured and are trying your best to provide yourself a good life or you want to have a family, well if ever had a case with child protective services you can pretty forget about it unless of course you win. Then you have to constantly watch your back, because their always watching and waiting for you to mess up.

Now:

Now that Roe V. Wade has been overturned, we must start think of legislation to protect our future children from corrupt child protective services, and our right to raise the children we birth. Not to mention the systems is going to get even more overwhelmed then it already is in the next 1-2 years from parents rights to the mental health system, and even corrupt child protective services. This decision they have made will effect everything. We should just not be protesting about abortion we should be protesting about parental rights in general and about the impact of how this will not just effect one system. We should be expanding and educating about what systems are going to be effected, write our politicians. If you think child protective services is corrupted just wait until they have more children then they have foster families or adopters, just wait till news stories start to pop up. Please just keep in mind about what other systems this is going to effect and don’t just talk about Roe V. Wade, talk about the mental health system and parental rights, as well as Child protective services. Tell your politicians to stop throwing funding at the problems and actually do some actually foot work.
