Failed femara round 1

I had been diagnosed with pcos last month and doc put me on duphaston for 10 days and then femara from cd2. I had been monitored and had 2 follicles one on each side about 14mm and 16mm, doc told to me come 2 days later so I can get my trigger shot but in the next visit she told me that eggs had been released and then I started my duphaston for 15 days and I got my period yesterday. What could be the factor in not getting pregnant. I feel so devasted had been trying for almost 3 years now. Feels like I will never have my rainbow baby. 💔💔💔😭😭😭
