Baby name post! Rant!

My husband and I finally picked a name for our little boy! Round of applause for me because I can’t decide on anything 🤣 Anyways we decided to keep it to ourselves and post it with the gender reveal post on FB. We told our close family and friends that it was a boy but not his name. We had been deliberating a name for months and have gotten a million opinions and suggestions and it made it SO much harder to decide when someone would say something about a name I liked being weird or strange, etc and then offer their annoying opinions. Therefore we picked and kept it to ourselves until we were ready to post it. We didn’t tell anyone, just posted it on social media with the gender (for the rest of everyone who didn’t know) and my MIL had the audacity to text me that she wanted to know before FB. She was the whole reason we didn’t want to share with anyone lol, too many opinions and suggestions. Side note, she is insanely active on FB so it wasn’t 20 mins after we posted she texted me. I didn’t even tell my own mom before posting it, if I would have told them I would have had to tell our sisters, grandparents close aunts and uncles and then my MIL would have told her friends and I just didn’t want to deal with trying to make people feel special. My mom texted and said she loved the name and that was the end of it, no comments about how she found out. I am well aware I can do whatever I want because it’s my kid and life I just needed to rant!
