Big baby

I’ve had my growth scan today and I’m 35 weeks. The previous scan and this scan is showing the baby is big and on the 97th percentile. Roughly 7lb 8oz currently

My consultant said it’s concerning and he’s going to scan again in 2 weeks - 37 weeks and if still showing on the bigger side they would look to induce or elective section.

I had an induction with my first baby at 42+1 and she was 8lb 6 and it was absolute hell and now my heads just all over the place. He’s given me information on big babies / induction and c-sections to read over before the next appointment so it’s not all too much information. I don’t have GTT and the fluid is normal around baby.

Anybody else had this experience?
