Going into labor question

With my first I was induced so I didn’t have that experience of going into labor and knowing when to go to the hospital. This time I’m not being induced. And I’m just wondering how do I know when it’s time to go to the hospital? How long after my water breaks do I have time to go. Or how will i know to go According to my contractions. My husband is my ride to the hospital and my only ride to the hospital and he works far. My fear is he won’t make it home in time to get me to the Hospital.
