would you expect him to not shower ?

my bf has to shower everyday it’s just how he is, I’m pretty much the same way it makes me feel good to shower before bed at night. so the hot water doesn’t work and he called his friend to use his shower and i guess it would be weird if i showered over there too ? i’m 39 weeks pregnant and i just said i guess i’m taking a cold shower then and he kind of expected that to be the case and didn’t want me to come with. i told my friend and she’s like he’s wrong asf for that and if it were my bf he wouldn’t take a shower either if i couldn’t go to his friends and shower too. would your bf or husband do that or is it really not that deep and just let him go shower at his friends ? like idk i didn’t feel like it was that deep but i’m just gonna be freezing lol. lmk your thoughts.
