40 weeks, lost mucus plug this am. Hospital??

When should i go to the hospital? Wait for my water to break or wait until im having unbearable pains?? Ftm. His head is very low right there. Today is due date and early this morning i lost my mucus plug or bloody show not sure which. Just relaxing doing laundry right now. Whens time?

Wait till water breaks or when contractions are consistent.
Losing a mucous plug doesn't indicates you are in labor.

you don’t need to go unless your water breaks or you have contractions four mins apart lasting one min for one hour. losing the mucus plug doesn’t mean anything really.

Hey I'm a ftm as well and I'm only 38+4 however my midwife suggested to head to the hospital once contractions are 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute, for 1 hour, the 511 rule or once your water breaks. Hope this helps 😊😊

When u start having contractions u can go in or when ur water breaks. Try bouncing on a ball, squatting , nipple stimulation etc

If it's followed by bleeding then yes go to the hospital, at least that's what I've been told with both pregnancies. If it doesn't have blood and if you aren't leaking water or are in pain then it's just a waiting game
