uti or kidney infection?

so i woke up from a nap earlier with throbbing back pain where my left kidney would be. it’s not really sharp pains or anything but more like a dull annoying period cramp but in my back and won’t go away. i’m not feeling any discomfort peeing but ( TMI⚠️) i do feel like i have to poop all the time. i don’t know if that was relevant but oh well. usually i get these feelings when i’m abt to start my period but i’m only ovulating right now and don’t start for another 2 weeks. any idea on why i may be feeling this pain?
