How do I go about getting a 4 year old pug spayed?

So… when I got my pug I was terrified to spay her because of some articles I read on flat faced animals and anesthesia.

(Please give me a break I was 16)

Now she’s 4 and suffers from irregular cycles and I’m scared somethings wrong… (anywhere from 2months to 7months between periods, I read it should be every 5 months.) but. The worst part is, I’m currently without a job. So I can’t afford to get her fixed and I’m freaking out over her shots that are overdue.

I’ve considered asking my dad (he bought her) to help, but that’s not his responsibility at this point, right? Like I’m the one who told him not to get her spayed to begin with.

I feel like a horrible pet mama. I wish I had just got her spayed!
