Abdominal Binder…do I need one?

Ftm, trying to prepare for labor. I have always heard that the hospital binders are so uncomfortable!! I started looking at a few binders on Amazon and reading their reviews. I’m hoping to avoid a C-section, but also want to be ready if I do have one. Is it worth the money to buy your own? Which band do you recommend? Has anyone worn one after vaginal delivery just to help the swelling go down? Would you recommend it? I honestly don’t know what to expect or if this is something I should just wait to order in the hospital only after having a c-section. 🤷🏻‍♀️
