This is my third pregnancy, with my 2 prior I had gestational diabetes. My dad has type 2, as do 3/4 of my grandparents so it wasn’t a huge shock. With my first, I passed the 1 hour test they did in the first trimester, but failed the traditional 28 week one and did the 3 hour, failed that obviously. With my second pregnancy I had it from the very beginning. This time, I failed the 1 hour. So today, 9 weeks, I went in for my three hour. For some reason I don’t have my results for my fasting or my 1 hour yet, but my three hour was only FIFTY! If you know anything about blood sugar that’s scary/almost fainting low. I’ve NEVER had a tank like that, especially in my pregnancies because my numbers always ran high, which is kind of the whole thing with GDM. I just needed to vent because I feel super weird, a nurse called to make sure I was ok once they saw my results and will have to talk to my doctor tomorrow. Definitely feeling super weird physically.
