Pre eclampsia

natalie

Hi guys, I am just wondering for those who were diagnosed with this, how you were diagnosed? Was it early on in pregnancy or later?

I am currently in France, going through my pregnancy here. I am from England and do not speak French. Anyway, I am classed as high risk, as I had a gastric bypass years ago.

I am seeing someone for monthly scans, and someone who does things like weighs me, checks blood pressure, checks baby heartbeat and gives me prescriptions for blood tests to be done. I then take this to a local laboratory, and take my results on the day of my next appointment.

I do not know how to read blood results, but I feel they're not linking things together.

Like they'd give me a prescription for vitamin D or B12, even though my levels seem within the normal range.

I went to emergency centre not so long ago, because of bad cramp pains, on their blood results, it shows I'm extremely low in creatinine (no idea what that is)

Proteinuria range should be between 0.00 - 0.15 but my recent test was 0.22 whereas in May, it was 0.04.

Glycosuria is showing 0.09 which seems to be in the normal range, but in May it was 0.03.

The things above, suggests I could have/get pre eclampsia, or have kidney disease.

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me, how I would be able to know if something isn't quite right, so I can tell them to look into things a bit more.

I know they should be able to tell, but as I give results on the same day as my appointment, I see them inserting it into a computer and then nothing. I never see the same person, and just feel they're not cross checking things.

Sorry for long post, I know they're boring.
