Has anyone ever been told they have hypoechoic lesions in their breast? I know of one person who has them and they turned out to be cancer so I’m panicking.

I had an ultrasound done and they discovered two hypoechoic lesions that they said were likely complicated cysts but I need a follow up scan in 6 months to make sure. Six months seems so far away that I’m wondering whether or not I should request to come back sooner. I know of people who have had misdiagnosed cysts that were cancer so I am terrified. I has an ultrasound 7 months ago that was clear so this worries me.

Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Just looking for some other opinions because I have anxiety and made the mistake of googling and I’m panicking now.
