Hey guys so I plan to host a baby shower eventually and I was going through my guest list when I realized what problems I may run into. I would like people to feel free to bring food if they want to the occasion also followed by beverages.. sense this is also on a low budget baby shower and I'm paying for the entire thing myself. Personally I don't want anyone to bring any alcoholic beverages because it seems inappropriate to have and/or drink during a baby shower.. I'm worried a few of my guests might bring adult beverages and I'm not sure how to put it into words to not bring such things when I make the baby shower cards. Any help on how to vocalize this in a polite way? Also on a side note how else can I vocalize politely on my cards that I don't want extra guests there even if that might include family members who weren't invited for personal reason?.
