Why does everyone want the baby out already?

Question

I’m 37 + 2 and I’m hoping baby stays in until my due date but it seems everyone wants their baby to be born already. I love being pregnant, am I the only one?  No hate, I’m just curious, am I missing something?
Update: ohh I get you mamas! It all makes sense now. This is my second baby (baby number 1 is currently 21 months) and I’ve got just 2 weeks before baby is here and I can admit it is hard running after a toddler and being pregnant! Thank you 😊

Because for some if it's their second or third or whatever baby, there miserable especially if they have other kids to run after. 
I want my body back so it can heal and I can be done with it this

Because for some people , like myself , pregnant has been horrendous. Some people face so many complications , some have morning sickness the entire pregnancy , some of their body’s just can’t handle it! 
As someone who has had all of those I’m so ready to be done & truly want him out now . It’s incredibly frustrating when people say it’s “too early” or the baby needs to cook a little longer because while we know staying in until 40 weeks is ideal , we physically and mentally cannot handle it anymore

My first pregnancy, super easy not even morning sickness. Even still working full time. But not everyone wants to be pregnant for the full 40. It’s great that you don’t mind because it’s honestly your pregnancy only you should worry about. And just because a baby comes earlier doesn’t mean they aren’t ready or anything less. Some people I have read have had hard pregnancies as well. Also inductions are really common so 🤷🏾‍♀️

The last one I would have been okay going to 40wks or more. This one is pushing so hard on nerves and cervix and ovaries that I am just DONE and want them out. Mentally I acknowledge and want them in as long as possible to keep those lungs and brain developing. But man...physically...def over it. Plus they are a SERIOUS mover unlike my last one. So uncomfortable.

I have HG (hyperemisis gravidarum AKA severe vomiting and nausea that stays throughout the entire pregnancy) and my house has no air conditioning in 90° heat, I have no shame in my game saying I wanted this baby out like yesterday. 
I had my membrane swept yesterday at 39+1 to speed it along even. I want him out soooo badly I’m almost excited to deliver just so I can hold him in my arms rather than my belly

I'm currently 36weeks and 2 days today due August 30th🤞 with my 2nd. I'm exhausted chasing after my 3yr old son, and as much as I can't wait for my little girl to get here I want her to bake as long as possible..My son was born right at 37weeks but I was full time and still working a lot despite feeling like I'd slowed down a lot. This time I stopped working before she gets here so I can focus on me and getting ready for her to arrive..it definitely is helping. I think the main reason I'm not in a rush is we don't plan to have more minis after this so I'm trying to enjoy it all now. But I totally get the reasons why some are just so ready to evict her mini, I've had moments and days I feel the same way.

I have enjoyed my pregnancy this time round. It been a lot smoother this time then my first born. I have been in triage a couple times due to no movement but other than that all good. I’m 37 and half weeks, I want to have baby now as I’m in constant pain and that but also it hard running around after my first born and seeing to his needs at the same time. I want to be able to heal and have body back but also be able to enjoy the summer holidays with my son at the same time.

Partly Because scheduled Inductions have been so normalized and become part of the plan for providers. Summer deliveries are tough on hospitals because of short staffing and a high rate of babies being born. They like having inductions scheduled because it helps them with their schedules for doctors and nurses. I was scheduled for 41 weeks on the dot and didn’t ask for or really even want an induction. I am 40 weeks +1 today and hoping to just go naturally.
