i was wondering if someone might be able to guide me through the basics.

I've just gone through a missed miscarriage, I opted for the medical management route and took misoprostol. after 2 does with little or nothing happening I was told it didn't work and was called in for the D&C preceedure under local.

I've been told that my first period would be due in 4-6 weeks after I stopped bleeding from the proceedure and that it would be a nasty one.

I thought I could use the ovulation tests to help give me a 2 week heads up before it arrives. I'm not sure how it all works though I have the test strips and know that you need 2 dark lines but I've seen on the web and on here level values and tracker apps.

Any help would be greatly received myself and my husband want to try again for our own rainbow baby but want to wait until things settle down before trying.
