Late ovulation!! Help!!

I miss calculated my ovulation and actually tested positive on Friday cycle day 28. I couldn't help but test really early and got a bfn. Anyone successfully become pregnant with a later ovulation? Or is this uncommon? Help! I need a bit of encouragement! 😩
