I got a negative result from a pregnancy test expired in December 2020. Should I trust the result?

The chemicals in expired tests start to go bad, so you’re more likely to get a negative even if you’re pregnant. If it’s a positive test, it’s probably still a real positive! But I would still double check with an unexpired test.

I read that if it's positive you are fine. You just can't trust negatives. I had a whole bag of the strips that expired last summer from when I was ttc my last baby. I used them last month to find out I'm pregnant again and was confirmed by my doctor.
