I know it’s super early still but- how are you planning on giving birth?

I know I know it’s super early, but how is everyone planning on giving birth? I’m hoping on doing a water birth at a birth center- with my first kid (hospital) my labor was easier and shorter than I excepted it to be so I’m hoping for the same this time!

My first 2 were emergency c sections. I’m currently talking to a provider that supports VBA2C’s, so I’m hopeful that I can have a vaginal delivery (it will still have to be in a hospital).
But if I’m not a good candidate, I will have a scheduled c section.

I've had 3 previous csections, so I know they won't allow me to try for a vbac. But, since I know how my body heals from them, I don't mind at all

This is our third baby. I had an emergency c-section with our first after being induced at 41 weeks. After almost 22 hours of labor, I only progressed to 5 cm and starting running a fever because my water had been broken for so long. She was born at 41+1…I thought I’d be pregnant forever! 🤣 With our second I opted for a scheduled c-section because she was measuring pretty big and I never dilated or thinned out on my own. She was a big girl and ended up weighing 10 pounds 5 ounces! 
I will most likely have to schedule another c-section with our last baby. There aren’t many VBAC-supportive providers near me. To be honest though, we have had three miscarriages and I just want to do whatever will bring this baby here safe and sound.

I have had two c-sections already. The first was an emergency. The second was scheduled and this one will be scheduled. I’m also having my tubes taken out because I’m done having children. Might as well have it done while I’m already cut open.

Schedules C section! First in 2018 for Breech baby, 2nd was 2020 (supposed to be a Vbac but pre-eclampsia had other plans 🙃) this one is scheduled for 39 weeks but I’m unsure I’ll make it that long due to my High BP history. 🫣

Honestly I would love to do a home birth mainly because I hated my post party recovery in the hospital (it felt like the nurses didn’t treat me the best & it was hard for me). So I would love to just be at home recovering at home from the beginning!
But ultimately, it’ll be in the hospital. My hubby feels more comfortable with it and so do I if there were a medical emergency or something. I also love my OB!

I’ve had two emergency C-sections previously so as much as I’d like to think this one will be a scheduled C-section, it will probably not be.  My Drs goal is schedule for 39 weeks, but I’ve had 35 week twins and a 37 weeker.
