Feeling guilty when calling in?

Why do I feel guilty when calling in or trying to get my coworkers to cover me? I work part-time (I was scheduled for 3 days this week; worked 2 and am trying to find someone to cover 3rd shift) I am feeling TERRIBLE! Anyone else feel guilty or just bad about calling in?

Yes everytime. I had covid and even tho I take anxiety meds I still had anxiety and guilt around being out for over a week! It’s something I’m trying to work on and I think it stems from people pleasing in early childhood or abusive relationships. That’s how I see it for myself atleast! Hubby is the same exact way
