8.5mo on nap strike!
The past 2-3 weeks have been challenging with feeding and solids. Now all of the sudden my daughter is on nap strike. Since I stay home with her we do a baby-led schedule. She usually takes 2-3 naps (depending on length) and wakes up between 7-8am and goes to bed between 8-9pm. Over the past couple days I’ve tried to lay her down for naps when she’s showing her normal tiredness cues and she will be drowsy, but then she will pop back up and refuses to nap. Yesterday the only nap she had was from 230p-5p and was asleep a little later at 920p. But she slept through the night for the first time! 10 straight hours.
Everything I’ve read says most babies need 2 naps/day until 12-14mo. Is it possible that she could be one of those babies that just doesn’t need more than 1 and sleeps through the night now? Or is this possibly a form of sleep regression? Anyone have LOs that have gone through this as well?
TIA!
