The hospital offered them at day 2. Worth ever penny. We said we would get them done when we got home (week one or two) and I don’t see a time that they will be done even in the first month. Things are crazy with a newborn. If you can afford the hospital photos DO IT!

She was born on a Sunday morning, we were both in the hospital until the following Saturday, and then the Saturday after that we had the pictures done so she was 13 days old. The photographer said to try for the first  week but we didn’t know at the time I would develop pp HELLP. Even at 2 weeks old they turned out great…and her one photo is the framed artwork hanging in our doctor’s office ♥️ I didn’t realize at the time but our photographer was commissioned to redo the artwork for our pediatrician. It’s fun getting to see her all newborn and adorable when we go to appts.

I got mine done at 2 weeks and my baby didn’t sleep at all and was hard to position lol. I recommend in the first week

With my first two they were done at 6 weeks. I didn’t get to do them with my 3rd but hoping to do them with my 4th in November since he will be my last baby. Want to them at 4 weeks.

My photographer told me to let her know when baby was born and she’d schedule me in within the first 12 days of life. The sleepier they are, the easier it is to get cute photos. After a couple of weeks they start to be a little more alert.

I’m a photographer and I took my firsts’ in the hospital at like 2 days old. With my second she was in the NICU for a week and I never got around to it when we got home 😅

Within the first 10 days is best! They sleep more often & are easier to position! :)

Honestly I did photos throughout 🤣 but I would think a week would be best for official/professional pics
