My partner and I are getting ready to TTC, I have had a coil in situ for 2.5 years which was removed in June this year. My cycle has been a little irregular since the coil was removed sometimes bleeding every 2-3 weeks, these ‘periods’ are often much shorter then a regular period would have been for me and only last 2-3 days with only one day of heavy bleeding.

I had a period this past weekend, began bleeding on Friday and was done by Monday. I decided to track my cycle to work out when I am ovulating. Because everything has been so mixed up I thought I would test from the first day of the cycle- the OPK was a strong positive, the following two days it was positive but fainter each day… does this mean I ovulated whilst bleeding? I didn’t think that was possible?

Can anyone shed any light?
