Is my ear infected??!?

I haven’t been able to hear well enough the last 2 weeks. I don’t think it’s wax build up. I don’t feel pain but it does ring from time to time. It looks like there is white discharge too? I can’t get the gunk out bc then I’ll hit my ear drum.

Looks like you have wax pushed down by the drum. The white is a reflection of the light. Wax shouldn’t be back there, which means it’s getting pushed down there with q tips or whatever. See an ENT or audiologist.

Just a heads up, anything between your ears and nose, there’s something called the Vegas nerve, if they touch it, it puts you into cardiac arrest so just be careful, happen to my uncle when they tried to irrigate his ears, and my mother had a nosebleed they tried to use a balloon and when they inflated it, it hit the Vagus nerve and center into cardiac arrest so just be careful.

When I was a medical assistant and had to clean peoples ears some of them looked like this. On stop messing with it your gonna push it in more. Two go to the doctor so it can be cleaned up it’s wax build up!

Honestly to me if it was infected you would have pain and fever. At least I have when mine has been infected. Looks like wax build up and it can cause your hearing to be effected. Go to the doctor if you're concerned and stop shoving things in your ear before you do damage
