Surprise pregnancy 😦😬

So...

I'm 27, just got out of a toxic relationship a few months back and started dating this stellar guy but it is very very new. We've been seeing one another for about a month and a half now.

I work a job that requires a lot of travel and I remember realizing my birth control wasnt in my suitcase so I was off of it for 2 weeks. I got 2 days of weird spotting - more of a brown blood and not enough to soak up a tampon at all. I figured this was just my period as it wasn't a full cycles worth. I'm thinking now that was implantation bleeding..

I get home and get back on birth control, but once Im on my sugar pills, I don't get my period. I got some very very light red spotting (enough to just see the red tint on the toilet paper but nothing more).

I start my new pack thinking my period was still screwed up from missing a few weeks from my last pack.

Then this morning I had an extremely vivid dream I was pregnant. I woke up feeling weird, so I figured I would test. Well.... As you can see I am very clearly pregnant.

I'm honestly in shock. I was careless for years, sleeping with my ex without any means of protection and just figured I wasn't fertile.. and this happened while I was on birth control (we didn't sleep together when I was off of it).

I don't know what to do. I'm 27 with a great career, but not one that supports having a family. This relationship is so new and I have no idea what to do. I don't want to just get an abortion but ... I can't imagine this going well.

Has anyone else found out they were pregnant early on in a relationship? How did you cope? Do you regret your decision, whatever that was?
