I’m 22 and I’m still shy I barely have any friends so
All I do is work and go home I’ve been single basically my whole life never been on a date so my self esteem is sorta low we’ll mainly low. I keep up wit my self I keep my hair done my nails done. The thing is I work at a ware house and I be interested in some of the guys at work. The thing is I feel discouraged because I don’t know how to approach them. I just feel like there not interested in me because they don’t say anything to me. I’ve seen guys ask for girl numbers at work but they have never happened to me. Plus im a bigger girl so im even more less confident . I matched wit this guy on tinder from work I had the guts to text him first nd say I feel like I seen u before so you work at Amazon he never responded back but I see him sometimes nd idk what to say to him in person what should I do?

My advice would be to try doing some new activities outside of work and home. Start going for walks in the park, concerts, go to restaurants alone, sit down and have a drink at a bar alone, or a cup of coffee at a coffee shop, or just walk through your town And say hello to people. Talk to people in the checkout line at the grocery store. stuff like that. ￼Obviously use your intuition and common sense to avoid weirdos… But try not to be afraid of everyone and don’t be afraid to say hi. You can even join some club type activities in your area. Join Facebook groups and try to have some meet ups with people who are like-minded. You will need to try to break out of this shy box you put yourself into in order to do any of this, but it is good to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Good luck!

I think before you start trying to date and entertain men, you should work on your self esteem and confidence. People can tell when you’re not confident and take advantage of that and you. As for the work thing, I wouldn’t read too much into that because there are people who prefer not the to mix business with pleasure. Personally, I would never try to get with anyone at work no matter how cute they are because I wouldn’t ever want the potential drama that can come with get in the way of me paying my bills. You have to learn to love yourself before you expect others to love you. Also remember that you will not be everyone’s preference and that’s okay, that doesn’t make you less than. Jay z cheated on Beyoncé and she’s society’s beauty standard. So you being “bigger” probably has nothing to do with anything and it’s just a way for you to attack your confidence. You got this, just work on changing your perspective. Would you rather be single or in an unhappy relationship? Your answer to that question will tell you how much work you need to do on yourself.
