I'm in Ontario, Canada if that matters. My friend told me her story how she has a high pain tolerance and it was so painful. She told me they force a rod through your cervix to measure your uterus and then they take it out and mark the rod for the IUD that's how they know how high to put it. She said they only put the pre numbing stuff on you, not the actual numbing stuff. She said she was in pain for a week. I've been thinking about one but I have a low to mid pain tolerance I don't think I can handle it. But I don't want to get a nuvaring again like I had before
