Is this an allergic reaction to amoxicillin? And what should I do?

She has an ear infection, which is why there’s so much drainage (trust me, I’ve been cleaning it). She had one before and she took amoxicillin just fine, it’s day 5 of taking it this round and this popped up on her face. 
First pic is from 30 minutes ago, now it looks like the second pic

I wouldn’t think so. This just looks like she’s been pulling and touching her ear. 
Send a picture to the pediatrician for reassurance!

Is it on their stomach too? My son just got tubes after many ear infections. He had a reaction to augmentin and the pedi explained an allergy within (like a med) would start at the belly and branch out. The rash was light, not itchy, but resembled liked this too

No but I used to get ear infections when I was young. Really bad that resulted in me now having hearing aids. Turns out that amoxicillin didn’t work for me which made me get sicker and sicker. Def keep an eye on the ears and make sure you lay her on the side that needs to be drained. Also a warm washcloth on the ear helps the pain. Good luck.

Nope...unless it presents in babies differently no. I am allergic to it and that was not at a like my rash. It is like a whole body rash and you are spotted like a leopard. You cam always call to make sure but doesn't look like that at all to me. 
This is pretty much what mine looked like. And it was my thighs to my face front and back.
