Should I text?

I know I’m always writing but I’m living my best life being single as well as still being open minded with individuals. I met this handsome man last week almost 2 weeks now. I went to ATL with my friends and had a lot of fun. Met this guy there who is gorg and was a gentleman. He resides in Miami, and he flew me out there to him. He was very sweet, nice, catering & wanted to make sure I have a good time. When I didn’t like something he did , he was quick to change & take it into consideration. He got me a flight back home and he messaged me making sure I was home safe. Since I’ve been home, he has been messaging me good morning, speaking to me for a week now and saying just checking on you if you’re okay. There was one day where he didn’t message me so I did message him to be fair. The last time we spoke was Sunday. It’s been 5 days now & feel like he won’t text until a week which is in 2 days and I’m feeling a bit bad / nerves. I really like this guy but I don’t want to ruin it but also don’t want to be played. I have to play it cool and want him to chase but should I text or wait for his text so I’m not chasing him? I also don’t want it to be too long for us not to speak.
