Am I asking too much from a $500 daycare
I pulled my child out if their daycare. I don't like how they talk to kids. I don't like how every time I've showed up there all the teachers were on their phone. I'm the person who made the post about one of the teachers telling a little boy if he stops crying she's gonna call his mom and tell her not to come get him. My daughter went to a paid daycare while I was in phlebotomy school. My program paid 1300 a month for her to go and it was AMAZING!!! I've had people tell me I shouldn't hold a $500 daycare to the standards of a $1300 daycare and I don't agree. How I see it I expect a $500 daycare to not have as new stuff. The building won't be as great. The kids probably won't go on field trip. They may not have as great of food as a $1300 daycare. They may not require their teachers to have a degree or a CDA but idc if it's a $5,000 or a completely FREE daycare. The bare MINIMUM is not bullying kids and watching them. I think the bare minimum is working on their gross and fine motor skills but the very LEAST you shouldn't always be yelling at the kids and on your phone while they run around outside or on your tablet and paying no attention. I feel my expectations aren't too high
