Roseola?

I haven’t noticed a fever. He was 99.6 the other day but he normally runs a little warmer around 99.1. This rash appeared suddenly within the last couple hours. He had slight diarrhea a few days ago but just that once. Acting normal otherwise. He’s 4 months old 
No new detergent or anything

My 5 month old currently has roseola and it looks similar. She got it from my oldest and I guess because I was heightened aware, I know they say the rash usually happens after the fever but hers started on her abdomen and then got a fever and then the rash got worse. Her fever wasn't very high either and didn't last long. It was 38.4°C (101°F) and gone by the morning.

Oh I just read your description. No if it’s no fever it’s not roseola. Okay so if my kids have it and it is absolutely accompanied by a very high fever. It is just a post viral rash

I would say that it is. It will clear up in a few days. You don’t have to do anything. It is just the after math of the virus.

Sometimes the rash will appear before the fever. So just watch out for that in the coming day or two. Do you think it could be heat rash? If so, just keep him cool and wash his skin and do not apply any lotions until it clears.￼
