D&C experiences?

I’m on loss #3 but baby will not come out naturally. It stopped growing at 7w4d with no heart beat at my 9 week scan a few days ago. I have D&C scheduled for Sept 1st. If you’ve had one, can you please tell me your experience? Thank you 💜

I've had two. The nurses made me feel very comfortable and were so kind the whole time. I woke up after a little groggy and was tired the rest of the evening and went to bed early. Minimal bleeding like a light period for a few days after. No real pain of significance. I kept up on taking some OTC pain meds that my OBGYN said I could take the evening after and next morning just in case, to prevent discomfort. The worst part was not eating anything until surgery time. So sorry for your losses.
