I just need to rant real quick because I know I might be being totally dramatic and I should just let it go but I can’t stand when people lie and try to make themselves seem better than everyone else !!! So I am in 2nd trimester now and my fiancés family member got pregnant a few weeks after I told her I was pregnant. I didn’t mind because quite honestly I loved the idea of having someone else to share the journey with but I really am choking on my words now. I am still excited for her and such but she has just been so hard to deal with ever since because every little thing is a competition. Yes I could just simply not talk to her but she is part of his family and therefore I kept the peace because it’s much simpler that way but she continues to make up lies about her pregnancy and seeming to one up everything I say or do. I am a few weeks ahead of her because that’s just how things worked out so I am a little ahead in development and such and she continues to pretend like she is ahead of me not that is matters but still!! Since the beginning every little thing like her saying the doctor told her he thinks she’s having a boy at 7 weeks pregnant and even at 6 weeks saying she heard a heartbeat on her at home Doppler and I kindly told her that it was her heartbeat and she refused. Then more recently her saying that her dog predicts genders and he said she’s having a boy. Now a little back story to this I have always wanted a boy and getting pregnant so young the one exciting thing was hoping I was having a boy and it ended up being a girl. I am still so excited and have gotten over the disappointment but now she continues to do this with acting like she’s having a boy when she doesn’t know yet. From the very beginning she knew I wanted a boy and always told me I was going to have a girl and she was having a boy. Now the other day she tells me that her doctor is telling her the gender at her 14 weeks appointment or 15 weeks whatever she is at this point because she continues to change it and I explained to her that doctors do anatomy testing at 18-22 weeks so they definitely weren’t yet and she told me she doesn’t know what to tell me and that she is finding out then…. Mind you we have the same doctor and I am 16 weeks and they are doing it at my next appointment at 20 weeks
