Twins?

If any twin mommas,or soon to be, how early did you find out you were expecting twins? It runs in my family so I’m just curious

When you have your first ultrasound.

I didn't know until I went to find out the gender around 18 weeks. It was my 3rd ultrasound so it was a complete shock when the tech said so here's baby A and baby B 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I found out at 12 weeks with my first pregnancy.

At 6weeks. I had identical twins though. So couldn't see it until there was more than just gestational sac visible, since they shared one. I did end up losing them. 
But if it runs in your family it's fraternal twins anyway. They can be seen as early as 4 weeks.

I saw always at my first scan but it wasn’t always my first scan I saw two heart beats. I always saw two heart beats at a 7-8 week scan
