Tube removed but is back????
I'll make this short and sweet. I'm seeking advice or similar experiences.
In 2019 I had an ectopic pregnancy which ruptured my right tube it was removed during surgery, I saw the pathology report and everything. I had an HSG done in the beginning of 2020 that showed both tubes were present. They thought maybe it was a fluke and that the spillage resembled a tube but it was just spillage out of a hole in my uterus. I just had a repeat HSG 2 days ago and both my fertility doctor and the radiologist performing the procedure confirms that I have 2 patent tubes. They cannot explain this....... I had endometriosis removal surgery in February of this year and my surgeon noted that I had no right fallopian tube that he could see while he was inside my abdominal cavity during surgery.
I reached out to my surgeon for further comment and he has not responded and I have found it difficult to get my medical records over the years.
I know that the tubes cannot grow back. According to the pathology report they removed 8 cm worth of my tube. When I had my HSG done they measured and each tube was around 10 cm long. My surgeon told me he did not remove part of it but he removed the whole thing because the likelihood of reoccurrence is high.
Tell me im not going crazy???? Did my surgeon go in there and realize it wasn't an ectopic and then lie? I dont know what to think. Either way this is good new about 2 patent tubes but now im questioning all my doctors.
