I posted a couple days ago but didn't get a response, so I'm trying again 🤣

On Thursday evening, I had the most agonising pain in my stomach, caused me to break out sweating, felt like I was going to faint, vomited several times and my fingers went numb/had pins and needles.

Went to emergency, they said I am still 1cm dilated, short and thin cervix. They hooked me to a monitor and confirmed I was having contractions. I had so much pain meds pumped in me and stayed over night.

The next morning, I was monitored again, I was still having contractions but these ones I couldn't feel. I think on the report when discharged, I was having 2 per 10 minutes. Perhaps I couldn't feel them because of the pain relief.

Last night I think I kept waking, feeling contractions. I've lower abdomen cramps but nothing is consistent enough to count yet.

I guess my questions are - is labour near? Should I be getting up and about trying to bring it on? Tuesday I'm having a scan to see babies weight, and they'll decide whether to induce me, because baby has been small and they've been doing frequent scans.

If im contracting and labour is near, surely they'd not go ahead with inducing and wait to see if natural birth comes.

I am 37 weeks as of today.
