Would you have another wedding even if you’re already married ?

My husband & I got married through the court but want to through church .. have any of you done this before ?😭 we’ve been married for 3yrs only 😭

So we are in the process of having our marriage blessed and renewing our vows. We had a non-denominational Christian Ceremony. I'm Catholic and I want to be able to take communion again and fulfill my sacraments so my husband has agreed to get our marriage blessed. We are also getting our children baptized the same time. It means a lot to my family as my brother was deployed and missed our wedding. Also to be in the church and the house of God means something to us. We very much loved our first wedding and it was done with my Uncle who is a pastor and it holds value as well. There is always an opportunity to recommit and do so in the house of the lord.

I've seen it done but personally I would do something else with that money am not worried about entertaining people I would rather enjoy us but to each their own to some its important to others that 1 x was enough

We got married “eloped” at a small chapel outside of the courthouse. It was just us two, cost 120$. 
Then went on to buy a house later that year. Money spent wisely. 
It was special to us, we didn’t and don’t need anything more.

My husband and I married in the courthouse when I turned 26 so I could be added to his health insurance. We had our wedding a couple years later when I graduated from my masters program. No one minded

A blessed marriage means everything to me.  Had I not been married by the church the first time I would’ve def done it later on. If this is something you guys feel the need to do there’s no reason why not do it. Congrats!
