Hey! So I have a 4 day old babe who has struggled to latch from day one. We are finally able to get him to latch the right breast for a few minutes here and there as of today but up until then I've been exclusively pumping and desperately trying to produce enough for him because he's so so hungry. Now my right breast is doing fine, he eats for 10 - 20 mins and I can pump for 10 to 15 just to keep the supply up and help fill a bottle. My left however he isn't latching at all and its always engorged and sore. I can pump it for 30 mins and it's still full. It hurts, i don't know what to do! I'm only 4 days into this guys! Do I continue to pump until it empties? Should I pump less than 30 mins but more often? Should I up the suction? Can anyone help me get through this. 🙁😔😭
