Is labor near?

I’m 36+2 weeks and just had an appointment yesterday. My dr office doesn’t start checking dilation until 39 weeks so I have no clue if I’m dilated or effaced. But when she checked his position she said it seems like he’s dropped. I’ve been nonstop having loose stool for the past 3-4 days, and I feel like my mucus plug has slowly been coming out. I’m just so ready for this pregnancy to be over and my little man to be in my arms.. I’m also a FTM so I have no clue what to expect when it comes to labor.. does it sound like I’m getting close?
