Should I get excited?

I had a chemical before my daughter in 2019 and I just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks last month. Today I’m 9dpo and I got a faint line on a FRER yesterday! But now I’m wishing I didn’t even test yet because I’m afraid I’ll lose this one 😭 How likely is it that I’ll have another chemical? So afraid to get excited.

I know those feelings 🥺 just try and stay calm and remind yourself this is a completely different pregnancy, it’s a whole new egg, it’s a whole new baby. Stay strong mama ❤️

YES! Get excited, being sad and scared and nervous won't change the outcome of your pregnancy. I know it's hard but I had to push all those "what if" thoughts out of my head before I could actually get excited.

I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy then went on to have a healthy baby, then had a chemical and then Had a healthy baby. I’m pregnant again and it was hard for me to believe things would be ok cause I felt like my pattern was a loss then a healthy baby, so I just kept expecting another loss. But we’re 20 weeks tomorrow and so far so good. If you can get your hcg drawn that can help reassure you a bit. Wishing you a healthy 9 months!

Yay one of my cycle buddies got a positive!! I tested today at 8 DPO and it was negative. Honestly, the chances of a chemical or MC happening over and over and over are so slim unless you have an underlying issue like a blood clotting disorder or something else going on. I wouldn’t be too worried. Maybe for peace of mind until your first prenatal appt, get bloodwork every couple weeks for quantitative HCG! You can do that on your own without a referral. Not sure of your stance on religion, but you’ll be in my prayers! Or thoughts! Or sending good vibes! Whatever it is that you believe in, all the positivity your way ♥️♥️♥️

I too had a chemical a few months ago and then got really anxious as I got pregnant again, but I am now 13 weeks and baby is doing great. All I can say is breathe, try to stay positive, and enjoy the pregnancy ❤️
